Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are high but steady at the Colwick river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding (of property) is expected to continue. Areas most at risk are Bleasby and Boat Lane, at Gibsmere.
No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please turn off gas, electricity and water and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers.
