Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are rising slowly at the Torksey river gauge as a result of Storm Henk. Consequently, flooding is expected to continue. Areas most at risk are Laneham and Church Laneham.

We expect river levels to remain high until Monday, 08/01/24.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and patrolling watercourses in the area.

Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.

This message will be updated by 06:00 tomorrow, 06/01/24, or as the situation changes.
