Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain high at the Torksey river gauge as a result of Storm Henk. Consequently, flooding is expected to continue. Areas most at risk are Laneham and Church Laneham. No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Monday 08/01/24. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 09:00 on 08/01/24 or as the situation changes.
