Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.
Flooding is expected from the early hours of 09 February 2026 .
Areas most at risk are the Newark Sugar Factory and Battery including Kelham Lane, Great North Road and Kelham Bridge. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Colwick Gauge will remain high until midday tomorrow, 09/02/26.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one .& move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
