Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels have remain high and stable at the Torksey river gauge, but could see a slight further raise during high tides. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected until at least Monday 08/01/24.

Areas most at risk are the river frontage at North Muskham.

We are patrolling watercourse in the area and closely monitoring the situation whilst liaising with emergency services.

Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.

This message will be updated by 09:00 tomorrow, 07/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
