Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are beginning to recede at the North Muskham river gauge. Consequently, the risk of flooding is reducing, but be cautious of standing water. Areas most at risk are the river frontage at North Muskham.
No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Monday 08/01/24.
We are patrolling watercourse in the area and closely monitoring the situation whilst liaising with emergency services.
Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 09:00 on 08/01/24 or as the situation changes.
