Flood warning

This message has been issued because flooding of homes and businesses is possible today, Saturday 24th February. River levels remain high following recent rainfall but should slowly fall over the next couple of days. Areas most at risk are riverside areas in Homersfield, Needham Mill, Brockdish, Scole and Diss, including the A143 at Scole and Homersfield, and the A1066 at Diss. The forecast is for no significant rainfall on Saturday 24th or Sunday 25th February. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation and not expecting the situation to escalate. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, Sunday 25th February, or as the situation changes.
