Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected on 05 December 2025 .
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Wriggle, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Deep Ford Lane and the Chubbs Farm area. Showers are forecast on Saturday followed by another band of rain on Sunday. On Monday night into Tuesday, another heavy rain front is forecast, which could bring further flooding impacts.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . We are checking defences and clearing bridges, culverts and screens.
Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so . Activate any flood protection products you may have.
