Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high at the Old Wye Bridge river gauge following heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected today, 08/12/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Rotherwas Hereford.
Predicted peak:- Old Wye Bridge 5.1m to 5.4m Sunday evening, 07/12/24.
No significant rainfall is due over the next 48 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
