Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from the morning of 27 January 2026 from 5:15AM onwards.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Yeo, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected. Areas most at risk include South Street, Ludborne Road and Sherborne Sewage Treatment Works in Sherborne, and the Mole Valley Farmers area on the Sherborne Road near Yeovil.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and Field Teams will be out checking rivers for blockages.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 6:00PM on 27 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
