Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

This warning remains in place as levels remain very high on Roam Drain following recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Areas most at risk include properties in Hempholme and around Hunt Hill Farm. River levels are steady but are expected to remain high and flooding of properties will continue. We are operating pumps in the area and continue to closely monitor the situation. Put your flood plan into action and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 5:00pm on Thursday 01/02/2024, or as the situation changes.
