This Flood Warning has been removed. Water Levels in both the Scrapsgate Drain and Warden Bay Drain have continued to fall following the heavy rain on Thursday. Whilst water levels are now below the level expected to affect properties a Flood Alert remains in force so flooding to low lying land is expected to continue. Further rain is expected today, so water levels will likely rise again though at this stage we do not expect them to require a Flood Warning. This said we will be monitoring the situation closely so should it become necessary we will issue the Flood Warning again. Please remain aware of your conditions locally and avoid contact with any standing flood waters which may still be present.
