Flood warning

River levels in Warden Bay have now begun to fall, though remain high in the Scrapsgate Drain. There is a possibility of flooding to affect properties on and around Broadway Road near the Scrapsgate Drain.
Light rain is forecast for Monday morning 01 February 2021 and river levels will remain high due to tide locking for the next 24 hours. High tide is expected at around 2:20pm today Sunday 31 January 2021
We are closely monitoring the situation. This message will be updated by 4pm on Sunday 31 January 2021, or as the situation changes.
