Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall over the last two days. Flooding of property, roads and low lying land is expected from around midday today, 14 January. We expect flooding to affect properties on and around Broadway Road and Minster Park near the Scrapsgate Drain and areas on and near Warden Bay Road from the Warden Bay Drain.
Further rainfall is forecast until late afternoon today. We expect river levels to remain high this afternoon and begin to fall from the tomorrow.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and our partners and clearing trash screens.
