Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Rising river levels are peaking at Fosseway gauge and are expected to cause flooding throughout this evening.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Sherston Avon, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Westport Bridge, The Maltings, St Johns Bridge, St Johns Street, Inner Silk Mills and The Mulberries.
Rainfall is reducing throughout the night, however river levels will remain high for a few days.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and checking rivers for blockages.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
This message will be updated by 07:30 AM on 25/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
