Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels are rising at the Ebley Mill river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible.
We expect flooding to affect low lying loand adjacent to Slad Brook. Locations near The Vatch and Libbys Drive may start to see some impacts.
Some further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours, and we expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation.
Our incident response staff are liaising with Local Authorities. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
Flood warning and alerts will be issued in advance based on the latest forecasts for the next twenty four hours from that forecast. Updates will be issued at least every twenty four hours
