Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide on the morning of 6th February
Areas particularly at risk include Mousehole, Newlyn, Penzance, Longrock, Marazion, Praa Sands and Porthleven harbour. The high tide at Newlyn on Friday morning is at 07:24, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.99mAOD . Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.5 and 0.7 metres above tide table level. Force 3 south westerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 3m are forecast over the high tide. Coastal conditions should ease for Friday evening's high tide.
