Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides and forecast weather conditions this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of the high tide on 29/09/2026
Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths. Areas particularly at risk include Mousehole, Newlyn, Penzance, Longrock, Marazion, Praa Sands and Porthleven harbour.
The high tide at Newlyn on Tuesday is at 19:09, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 3.11 mAOD. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.42 and 0.47 metres above tide table level. Near gale Force 7 southerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 3m are forecast over the high tide.
Coastal conditions should ease for Wednesday morning's high tide.
