Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides over the next three days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible all high tides from Tuesday AM to Thursday AM inclusive.
Areas particularly at risk include exposed coastal areas of Plymouth Sound including Cawsand, Kingsand and The Hoe, Millbrook, and low lying areas on the Tidal Lynher, Tamar, Tavy, Plym and Yealm estuaries.
The high tide at Plymouth on Tuesday is at 06:43, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 3.03mAOD. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.4 and 0.53 metres above tide table level. Force 4 to 6 South Easterly winds and offshore wave heights of over 2.8m are forecast over the high tide.
Coastal conditions should ease by Thursday PM.
