Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Significant amounts of rain have fallen on the catchment over the past few hours and further heavy rain is forecast until the early hours this morning. The river has risen to high levels and may continue to increase and cause some flooding in the upper reaches of the catchment. Surface water drainage may be impeded by high river levels. It is expected the main rain band will clear the area by around 3 to 4am today. This message will be updated by midday today.
