Property flooding is expected.
River levels have risen on the River Bure and Back Brook very quickly as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property is expected imminently. Property flooding is expected, especially in the Hanover Gardens and Chapel Street areas. We expect river levels to remain high for several hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Remain safe and aware of your local surroundings. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and move family, pets and cars to safety. This message will be updated as the situation changes.
