River levels peaked at Pudsey in the early hours of this morning, 16/02/20, at levels below those seen in storm Ciara. Levels have now fallen below the level where there is a risk of property flooding. The Flood Warning for this area has now been removed. However, a Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding may still affect roads and low lying land.
Scattered showers are forecast for the first half of the week. We do not anticipate a significant river level response, but levels are expected to remain higher than average for at least the next two days. To report property flooding, please call our incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60.
We continue to monitor the situation and our incident response staff are checking the condition of defences.
Please see GOV.UK for a 5 day flood forecast. Avoid contact with flood water, and please plan your driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
