Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high but are beginning to fall as a result of persistent (heavy) rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible this evening and tomorrow, 07/02/2021. Areas most at risk are Tyersal and Pudsey Beck. Further rainfall is forecast this evening. We expect river levels to remain high until tomorrow. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid driving through floodwater. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
