Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from the early hours of Monday 26 October .
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. Recent heavy rainfall associated with storm Boelo has resulted in high river levels upstream. We expect the river Ouse at York to peak below 3m tomorrow, Monday 26 October.
We are closely monitoring the situation and do not expect to issue any flood warnings along the Upper Ouse.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
This message will be updated by 7:00AM on Monday 26 October or as the situation changes.
