Flooding is possible on 30 August 2026 into 31st August 2026 
Locations most affected will be Wash Dike in Ferrybridge and Pontefract. Showers may be thundery and cause rapid localised river and surface water response in urban areas. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
