Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels in Wash Dyke have fallen following heavy rainfall on Sunday, 20/07/25. Whilst the rain should ease this evening, we may still see some heavy, thundery and isolated patches of rainfall overnight into tomorrow.
Although river levels are now below levels of concern, any further heavy rain could cause the river to rise rapidly again. We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please take care around low-lying footpaths and roads near local watercourses.

We will update this message by 0900 on Monday 21/07/25 or if the situation changes.
