Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels in Wash Dyke have fallen below levels of concern following Sunday's heavy rainfall. As there remains a risk of further heavy, thundery showers this evening/overnight, any further rain could cause the river to rise rapidly again. We will continue to monitor the situation.

Please take care around low-lying footpaths and roads near local watercourses.
We will update this message by 1000 on Tuesday 22/07/25 or if the situation changes.
