Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Levels in Wash Dike have responded rapidly as a result of heavy localised rainfall. Water levels could rise rapidly and potentially generate deep, fast flows. We could also see some surface water impacts, particularly in urban areas that experience the most intense bursts of rain.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
