Flood alert

River levels are falling again after rainfall earlier today. Flooding is possible. Areas most at risk are around Bin Brook, at Newnham in Cambridge.

Further showers are possible throughout the day today and a further band of heavier rainfall is forecast overnight tonight, Thursday 4th April, which may keep river levels high. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, 05/04/2024 or if the situation changes.
