Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels on Thursday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 15 January 2026 from 20:00, as a lot of rain (23mm) fell on Thursday.
Flooding could affect footpaths at Milford Bridge, opposite Lucerne Road, and potentially, gardens at Milford on Sea High Street. No impacts are expected at Ashley. Only a small amount of rain is forecast over the next 3 days. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Milford on Sea by 01:00 16/01/26.
We are closely monitoring the situation and operating Milford Dam.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses . Particularly at Milford Bridge opposite Lucerne Road.
