Flood warning

Property flooding is possible.

River levels have been rising on the Ginge Brook this morning as a result of rainfall last night. Therefore, flooding of property is possible this morning 18/02/24, especially in the Steventon area. We do not expect peak levels to be as high as seen in January. Today and Monday will be mostly dry, with a few showers here and there. River levels are expected to peak by mid morning.

Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated this evening, 18/02/24, or as the situation changes.
