Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood Warning

The River Uck has been rising steadily in response to 25mm of rainfall today. River levels are predicted to continue rising further this evening, and flooding is expected from 21:00 05/03/2020. Isolated properties near to Isfield Mill are expected to be affected, as well as rural roads, gardens and extensively through nearby fields. Thursday evening (05/03/2020) and Friday (06/03/2020) should be relatively dry, so river levels are expected to begin to fall from 06:00 on Friday (06/03/2020), returning to more normal levels by Friday afternoon. However, further rain is forecast into next week and so levels may rise, and flood risk could return again. Flood protection products are recommended to be installed in Isfield now, if you have them, to reduce the impact of flooding. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 14:00 06/03/2020.
