River levels in Isfield have fallen from their peak, Thursday 05/03/2020, to nearer normal levels now. River levels will continue to fall slowly, during Friday 06/03/2020. Minor residual flood impacts will remain in fields, gardens and on rural roads. More rain is predicted Sunday morning and Monday afternoon 09/03/2020. The risk of flooding will increase again, dependent on the amount of rain we receive. Current predictions suggest river levels will probably peak lower (than seen Thursday 05/03/2020), but further flooding affecting gardens and roads could be possible, or affect properties, if the forecasts change and predicted rainfall amounts increase. Please keep flood protection products close to hand, ready to be deployed Sunday, if you have them, and remain prepared for flood risk to increase Sunday 08/03/2020
