Flooding expected. Take action now.
The River Uck is high and rising, following an intense band of rain Sunday morning. From 16:30 Sunday 15/11/2020, flooding could affect fields, rural roads, and riverside properties around Isfield Mill and Isfield Bridge and maybe the Old Mill properties at White Bridge. Small amounts of rain are possible this afternoon and this evening, but should not cause river levels to increase significantly, and Monday and Tuesday are forecast to be dry. With more showers Sunday afternoon, river levels might not peak until 20:00 15/11/2020, but with Monday and Tuesday largely dry, the River Uck should return to normal by Monday morning. Flood protection products are recommended to be installed in Isfield, if you have them. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 19:00 15/11/2020.
