Flooding expected. Take action now.
The River Uck is now slowly starting to fall at Isfield, but remains higher than normal. Minor flood impacts affecting fields, rural roads, and riverside properties around Isfield Mill, Isfield Bridge and the Old Mill properties at White Bridge will remain until Monday (16/11/2020). A brief period of rain will clear to the east from 18:30 Sunday (15/11/2020), which will probably cause river levels to rise again, for a short period of time (until 20:00 15/11/2020). River levels are predicted to remain lower than their peak earlier on Sunday. Following Sunday afternoon’s showers, the weather should remain largely dry until Wednesday (18/11/2020), which will allow river levels to fall and return to more normal levels by Monday afternoon (16/11/2020). Please keep flood protection products installed, if you have them. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 11:00 16/11/2020.
