Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High tides on Sunday may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible for 1 hour either side of Sunday afternoon's tide at 12:19 on 07/12/2025. 
The weather increases tide table values by 0.41 m. Total forecast tide is 4.78 metres Chart Datum (2.19 mAOD) at Cowes. Strong South Westerly Force 5 wind. Very minor impact flooding will affect some sea front roads, esplanades and car parks across the island. Water will be high up slipways in Cowes, affecting Medina Road and the floating bridge. In East Cowes, sea water forced up through drains may cause very minor impacts to the road at Albany Road. Monday's tide at 01:05 08/12/2025 is forecast to be 25 cm lower (1.94 mAOD). High water levels are forecast to continue for the next few days. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have .
