The water levels in the Upper Eastern Yar are now falling, and will return to normal within the next 24 hours. Today (Monday 29/04/2024) and tomorrow (Tuesday 30/04/2024) virtually no rain is forecast, giving the river a chance to recover. From Wednesday (01/05/2024) onwards, more unsettled weather is expected, bringing further bands of rainfall. The river will remain sensitive to any further rainfall. We will continue to monitor the river and weather forecast information.
