Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday. Flooding is expected on 03 February 2026 as a further 20mm of rain has fallen in the past 24 hours. River levels in the Eastern Yar remain high. Flooding is continuing to affect the road, a small number of properties in Alverstone and Langbridge, and restrict access to Horringford, Golf links road, and affect footpaths. Garden flooding is expected to be continuing at Whitwell High Street. River levels will be lower than on Monday 02 February 2026. Further rainfall is forecast from Thursday 05 February and into the weekend. River levels and flood risk will remain high for the next few days. This message will be updated by 16:00 on 04 February 2026.
