Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels on Thursday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 19 February 2026 from 14:00, as a lot of rain (30mm) fell on Wednesday.
Flooding could affect gardens of and potentially approach properties of Langney Green. Fields and parkland including Shinewater Park could also be affected. Only a small amount of rain is forecast over the next 5 days. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Langney by 03:00 on 20/02/2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation and operating structures at Fence Bridge and Crumbles to reduce flood risk.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Install flood protection products in Langney Green.
