Forecast high river levels this weekend may lead to flooding. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Slash Lane at Sileby and the Mountsorrel to Sileby road. Further rainfall is forecast throughout this weekend. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 17:00 on 29 August 2026 or as the situation changes.
