Flooding possible. Be prepared.
The River Lox is high near Brewhurst Mill. Flood water will continue to be in fields close to isolated Mill properties. Only isolated showers are forecast on Monday (16/02/2026) and Tuesday (17/02/2026). River levels should continue to fall, and levels should return near to normal by Tuesday evening. However, widespread rain is forecast on Wednesday morning (18/02/2026). If as much rain falls as is currently predicted, from 6:00PM on 18/02/2026, flooding could affect fields, rural roads, and possibly isolated riverside properties at Loxley Bridge on Wrotham Hill, Dunsfold and Petworth Road, Chiddingfold. Also gardens near Brewhurst Mill on Brewhurst Lane and the Onslow Arms, Loxwood. River levels should peak, and begin to fall, by 8:00PM on 19/02/2026, returning near to normal by Friday (20/02/2026). Unsettled weather could continue throughout February. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have. Continue to operate private water control structures at Brewhurst. This message will be updated by 8:00PM on 17/02/2026.
