The River Lox is high, following Wednesday's rain. Minor flooding will continue to affect fields, roads and gardens at Loxley Bridge on Wrotham Hill, Dunsfold and Petworth Road, Chiddingfold, and near Brewhurst Mill on Brewhurst Lane and the Onslow Arms, Loxwood. Only isolated showers are forecast Thursday afternoon, Friday, and over the weekend. River levels should begin to fall near Brewhurst Mill by 17:00 19/02/2026, and will continue to slowly fall Thursday evening and Friday, returning nearer to normal by Saturday. However, unsettled weather could continue throughout February, so further periods of flood risk are possible. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have. Continue to operate private water control structures at Brewhurst. This message will be updated by 20:00 20/02/2026.
