Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday.
Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 from 15:00, as a lot of rain (30mm) fell on Tuesday.
Flooding will affect properties near Mock Bridge and their gardens. Water will be extensive through fields, and affect the A281 at Mock Bridge, near Shermanbury. River levels could peak similar to 16/01/2026. Rain is forecast to stop by 13:00 27/01/2026, with only isolated showers Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce at Mock Bridge by 02:00 28/01/2026. However, river levels will fall slowly and will not return near to normal until Friday.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Don't put yourself or others at risk Avoid roads that flood (A281 at Mock Bridge).
