Flooding possible. Be prepared.
The River Adur is higher than normal, but now falling following Wednesday's rain. Minor flood impacts will continue to affect fields, rural roads between Coolham and Henfield. A small amount of rain is forecast Friday morning, which should not increase flood risk significantly, but river levels could rise a little Friday afternoon. Only an isolated shower is forecast Friday afternoon through to Monday, which should allow river levels to fall over the weekend. River levels should return near to normal by Saturday afternoon. However, rain Tuesday could bring more flood risk. We are closely monitoring the situation. Don't put yourself or others at risk. Avoid roads that flood.
