River levels are falling in the River Aire downstream of Castleford and this will continue through Sunday, 22/10/2023 as no significant rainfall is forecast today. Standing water will remain in areas adjacent to the river and has not yet reached a level in Fairburn washlands at which we can remove this warning. Our incident room remain open. This message will be updated by 12:40 AM, 23/10/2023
