Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are high on the River Eden due to Storm Isha.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Eden, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around isolated residential properties, farms and golf course facilities between Newby East and Low Crosby.
River levels are expected to remain high and the risk of flooding of properties will continue.
Further light rainfall is forecast throughout the day but river levels are forecast to begin falling.
We will continue to monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
