Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Property flooding is expected. River levels have now peaked and are currently falling on the River Kennet following recent heavy rainfall. Flooding of property and roads is expected to continue today, 07/01/2024. Flooding may affect properties closest to the river, particularly in Bennet Road, Island Road, Circuit Road, Burghfield Bridge, Mill Road, Pingewood Road, Mill Green, Station Road and Holybrook Farm. Today and tomorrow are forecast to be mainly dry with a chance of wintry showers. We expect river levels to remain high but continue gradually falling over the coming days. We are monitoring the situation. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Be aware of flooded roads, do not drive through floodwater. This message will be updated this evening, 07/01/24, or as the situation changes.
