Flood warning

Property flooding is expected. River levels have risen rapidly as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected from this evening 04/01/2024, especially in the areas closest to the river Pang. Areas most at risk are properties nearest the river. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. We expect river levels to remain high overnight. We are monitoring the situation. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Be aware of flooded roads, do not drive through floodwater. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 05/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
