Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding is expected. River levels are rising on the River Thames as a result of a period of sustained rain. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected to continue, especially in the Chertsey area. The forecast today, 7 January 2024, is for mostly dry conditions, with a dry forecast for the next few days. We expect river levels to continue to rise over the next few days as water moves through the system.
Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 8 January 2024, or as the situation changes.
