River Levels

River Thames at Chertsey

Message issued at 10:41am, Friday 12th January 2024

Warning no longer in force

Property flooding is no longer expected. River levels have fallen below the flood risk threshold, and continue to fall slowly on the River Thames. Therefore, property flooding is no longer expected in the Chertsey area. The forecast is for a dry day (12/01/2024), followed by a dry night, however the cold snap will cause icy conditions. A flood alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding may still affect roads and low lying land. We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this warning if necessary.
